Omega Fire
Water-Based Acrylic/Silicone Hybrid
Omega Fire is a two-component coating (A&B) having a blend of seven different ceramics combined in a water-based, acrylic/hybrid modified silicone formula to create a barrier against extreme flame impingement and heat migration. The coating can withstand direct flame up to 2200°F by hardening on the surface at first contact, while continuing to provide the necessary insulation value. The resin blend binds the compounds together and forms a char to matrix the ceramics across the face of the coating, facing the flame.
Omega Fire is designed to stay intact with constant adhesion at extreme temperatures, while remaining flexible. In this way, it can move with the surface, during expansion and contraction, without cracking and falling off as the substrate moves.

Interior Intumescent - Class "A" Flame Spread Rating
Safecoat PVC is an acrylic, solvent based paint which can be used in interior applications to achieve a Flame Spread rating of 0 and a Smoke Developed Rating of 35 tested under CAN/ULC S102.2. This intumescent fire retardant coating is manufactured specifically for PVC pipe and fittings. It is especially effective where exposure to moisture and UV radiation is a concern or the coating is subject to repeated cleaning. it limits flame spread by expanding to any times the original dry film thickness when exposed to heat. This expanded material forms a char which insulates the substrate against heat, and reduces available oxygen to the surface, thus limited flame spread to a CLASS A on PVC, as tested under CAN/ULC S102.2 standard, in a single coat application sprayed at 100 sq. ft. per USG.
Typical Uses
-
Imparts a Class A Flame Spread Rating of 0 and Smoke Developed Rating of 35 when applied to PVC
-
Can be used in Return Air Plenums, High Rises, and Non-combustible buildings where traditionally only copper and/or cast iron pipe was used.
-
Can be applied as a mandatory upgrade to assist owners and property managers to meet the latest fire and building code requirements.

Intumescent up to a 2 Hour Fire Resistance Rating (120 minutes) on Structural Steel
Safecoat Steel is a single component latex, intumescent fire retardant coating ideally suited for exposed interior structural steel where up to a 2 hour fire resistance rating is required. It is ideal for interior steel columns, trusses, beams and other exposed structural members. It limits thermal penetration by expanding to many times the original dry film thickness when exposed to heat. This expanded material forms a char which insulates the substrate against heat, and reduces available oxygen to the surface. It provides up to a 2 hour fire rating as tested under ASTM E-119-08A, NFPA 251 “Small Scale Test” and CAN/ULC4-S101 “No Load”.
NCFR 1000-1X solvent paint is an exceptionally durable, high quality paint for interior and exterior use. It is also an extremely effective class A/Type 1 fire retardant coating. Through its intumescent action (foaming and frothing when subjected to flame) NCFR 1000-1X provides excellent fire protection. The vinyl co-polymer resin system gives excellent durability for exterior as well as interior applications. An important additional advantage is that transparent material can be applied over wood surfaces and may also be applied over rigid polyurethane foam and other plastic materials to achieve low flame spread ratings. Simple application with brush, spray or roller is all that is required.
Recommended for:
The best choice for situations where sources of fire may be present, as well as in cases where the consequences of brush or forest fires may be severe. Always make your own test.
Typical Uses
Hotels, Hospitals, Schools, Government Institutions, etc.

Exterior/Interior Penetrating Clear Latex - Class "A" Flame Spread Rating
FIREX-FS II ® Fire Retardant Coating, a post treatment exterior/interior fire retardant and preservative. This product dries clear. When used on porous woods such as Douglas Fire or Pine, it will provide a Class A rating. FS II penetrates wood and becomes part of its molecular structure, it also closes wood pores making them insoluble to water, therefore it can be said that this product is a wood preservative. This product contains proprietary vinyl-copolymer latex that will protect the fire retardant from exterior weather for up to 10 years and a min of 5 years. When treated material is subjected to an open flame, the retardant will pyrolitically self-extinguish fire with minimum smoke. FS II is commonly non-toxic, non-hazardous and easy to apply.
BASIC USES:
FS II should be used for exterior/interior applications such as: most porous woods, cedar shake shingles for preservative and fire retardant.
ADVANTAGES:
Class A one coat system. 25 Flamespread, 25 Smoke Development. Since FS II penetrates and becomes part of the substrate, the life of the flame retardancy is indefinite if interior, if exterior we recommend retreatment after 5 years. FS II is user friendly, water based and non-toxic. This product dries clear and may be coated with most latex coatings or latex stains, after the product has cured and if applied properly due to its unique polymer bond for an indefinite time interior and a minimum of 5 years exterior. Most fire retardants that are thick paints will deteriorate over time because they do not become part of the wood. This product will not alter the structural integrity of the wood like pressure treatment does.
LIMITATIONS:
Do NOT dilute. Storage range: 110°F to 45 °F Shelf life: 1 year if kept within storage temperatures. We suggest a small compatability test. Moisture content should be 8%-19% before treatment. Woods that have a low moisture content need to be treated with a heavier coverage.
APPLICABLE STANDARDS:
FS II has been tested to the following standards:
ASTM E-84, NFPA 255, UL 723, US Testing #LA 62466, Omega Point Laboratories #8746-108578, Calafornia Registration #C-256.01, LA Approval, RR#25420 and CSI#09960.
